Built to Suit Your Site

Every Aqualux pool is constructed on-site to match the specific layout, access, and ground conditions of your property. Unlike fixed-shell systems, the structure is not adapted to fit — it is built to suit.

Galvanised steel wall panels reinforced with concrete provide long-term structural stability, while allowing flexibility in size, shape, and depth. The result is a pool designed for New Zealand conditions, not forced into them.

What Auckland Homeowners Ask Before They Choose

  • A vinyl pool liner typically lasts 10–15 years depending on use, UV exposure, and water chemistry maintenance. Aqualux liners are UV-stabilised and manufactured for New Zealand conditions. When a liner reaches end of life it can be replaced without excavation or structural work — contact us for liner replacement across Auckland.

  • Aqualux offers 20+ interior finishes across three ranges: dark architectural finishes for contemporary depth and contrast, light resort finishes for maximum brightness and clarity, and natural stone-inspired finishes for a coastal, organic feel. Each finish affects perceived water colour, depth, and thermal absorption differently.

  • Yes. Aqualux precision-fitted liner systems are available for structurally sound concrete, fibreglass, and aging vinyl pools. Liner installation restores a watertight interior without excavation or full reconstruction — a cost-effective way to extend pool life without a full rebuild.

  • Because every Aqualux pool is assembled on-site from steel wall panels, there are no fixed mould constraints. Pool length, width, depth profile, step configuration, and shape can all be specified to suit your property and design intent.

  • A heat pump is the most efficient and cost-effective way to heat a pool, drawing warmth from the surrounding air to hold your preferred temperature. Aqua-Tech supplies a full range of heat pumps to suit any pool size. The 90mm external wall insulation does a lot of the work too — by holding heat in rather than losing it through the walls, an insulated Aqualux pool stays warmer for longer and costs noticeably less to run than an uninsulated one. That means a warmer pool, lower heating bills, and more swimming weeks each year.

  • Yes. Aqualux vinyl liners are well suited to saltwater chlorination, and Aqua-Tech supplies a range of salt chlorinators. Salt systems still sanitise with chlorine — it's generated automatically from the salt rather than dosed by hand — so the water feels softer with less day-to-day maintenance. Salt does need managing (paving wear, rain top-ups, and regular pH balancing), so it's worth talking through your setup with us before deciding.

  • Yes. Aqua-Tech supplies ozone and mineral-based sanitisation systems that significantly reduce how much chlorine the water needs — gentler on skin and eyes, with no strong chlorine odour, while keeping the water safe and clear. The right system depends on your pool size and how it's used, so we'll recommend the best option for your household as part of the build.

  • Yes. Aqualux Pools is a division of Aqua-Tech Industries Ltd, which has been manufacturing steel wall swimming pools in New Zealand since 1974. Aqua-Tech is the parent manufacturing company; Aqualux is the residential pool brand.
